High efficiency fluorescent fixtures in place. High speed freezer doors,
heat and office ac on timers, air dryers in bathrooms, refrigeration on
computerized system to optimize use and shut down motors when not needed.
Trucks on GPS and computer to monitor operation, trucks are routed by computer
to optimize mileage. Min. Order size to reduce fuel usage.
Cooling water for production equipment is recycled to refrigeration
condenser, high efficiency nozzles in clean up. Landscape is not watered.
All metals recycled all cardboard recycled, fat end bones to
rendering co. waste oils reclaimed by recycler, glass and cans recycled,
office waste paper recycled, toner cartridges recycled, batteries recycled.
We maintain protein categories that include locally produced sustainably
raised beef, pork, lamb, poultry, game meats, dairy including eggs cheeses
and yogurts, fruits and vegetables produced on family farms that enhance
rural communities, promote job growth, protect the environment, and keep
family farms profitable. We maintain inventory on dry goods and processed
products manufactured locally to minimize carbon footprints on deliveries
of local goods.

Fish containers are biodegradable. Corrugated boxes are made from recycled material.
Paper towels and toilet paper are eco-friendly
All chemicals used for cleaning the plant, equipment,
and trucks are biodegradable and USDA organic certified.
